Logos revised after first meeting

  1. Matt, Tyler, Josh,

It was great meeting with you last week. Sorry to have taken so long to chime in with comments. On Friday I shared a few emails with Dr. Westfall to explain a little of what we discussed and to let him know the tight timeline you guys have.

These revisions look great. I really like the look of the cleaner fonts.

The orange wheat logo looks good, but has a bit of a roman garlandish feel. Don't know if that is good or bad. My favorites on that page are the 2 in the upper left.

The updated Venn diagram logo also looks better to me. Is there a way to play with the logo to make it look more like wheat grains, and less like leaves or a lotus blossom? My favorites here are the two on the right.

I like the colors and the overlapping transparent color. Having the center area the darkest makes the image suggestive of a tree. Can we change that aspect by manipulating the colors? How do you think a logo like this will reproduce in a newspaper or other less detailed renditions? Will the subtlety of the colors be a big problem?

    That's all for now, Ned
